Body Wise Nordic Walking

Anyone who has completed a Nordic Walking Course for Beginners can purchase a Four Walks Pass and join Body Wise organised walks in the local area.

The walks on average are 4 to 6 miles long with flat, or uphill and downhill terrain, for a maximum of 12 people, and run with a minimum of 5. The routes are carefully planned, different each week, and include a finishing point near a pub or cafe. The walks are a great way to meet new people and make new friends. They also include time for developing ‘Mindfulness on the Move’.

Walks are booked by email on a first come first serve basis. Once you email to take part in a walk you have committed to paying for it, and no refunds will be given if you are unable to attend when there are fewer than five people participating.

A Four Walks Pass’ is available for organised walks in the local area at £24 if you have your own poles, or at £40 for four walks which includes pole hire.
